Absinthe Suisse La Bleue Clandestine

Good evening fellow Absintheurs!

My name is Alain Diable. You can call me Alain.
You may know me as a frequent visitor of the Moulin Vert, the notorious Absinthe bar of Montmartre. But I want make sure you know that I am also a sexual dynamo, a promoter of all things bohemian, a hater of the bourgeoisie and an devoted ALANDIA Absintheur!

Let me tell you what happened to me last night in the Moulin Vert...Like every day between 5 and 6pm I sat down for my Heure Verte. Suddenly a Monsieur asked if he could join me and presented me his bottle of Absinthe. He was from Val de Travers, Switzerland, and said that he brought the best Absinthe with him and wanted me to try it. Well, first I was a bit skeptical, but the angel on my shoulder told me, drink Toulouse, drink. So I drank. And within a moment I experienced an explosion of taste and delight on my tongue! A herbal complexity of wormwood, anise, fennel touched my senses and my nose recognized a pleasant bouquet of honey and flowers - wonderful. It was indeed the best Absinthe I have tasted so far, La Bleue Clandestine, that is the name of my newest devotion!

Au revoir mes amis,

Alain Diable

History:

ALANDIAs La Bleue Clandestine is a distilled Absinthe, made after a Suisse clandestine recipe from a former bootleg distiller. Switzerland can be considered as the birthplace of Absinthe. In the Valley Val de Travers in the Swiss Jura the Pernod distillery was located and now, almost 100 years after the prohibition, the Green Fairy has returned. The Valley is known for its various clandestine Absinthes which were produced by bootleggers in the Swiss Jura after the Absinthe Prohibition. These Absinthes are known under the name La Bleue. In comparison to commercialized Absinthes, La Bleues are produced with only the finest herbs, grown by local farmers. They are distilled using traditional artisan methods and colouring or any artificial additives would never find its way into a Genuine La Bleue. Sipping this very special elixir is a sensory experience, the scent of honey and flowers, and the complexity of the first sip introduces you into a fascinating world of taste and the first quality herbs guarantee an inspiration you will never forget.

We recommend to serve La Bleue Clandestine with two parts cold water and one sugar cubes. Then the complex flavors will open its full effect and you will experience the fascinating bouquet of this very special drink.
